DANCE INTENSIVE @ JOY’S STUDIO IN SANTA CRUZ CA AUG 21/22

Come and get pumped for the Zumba Convention–or for those unable to attend–you will love this!

Joy will be scheduling a block of classes on both Saturday and Sunday, including Zumba master classes, “Samba Express”, “Non-sop Hip Hop”, “Latin Hips” and more. Each class will be priced separately but the whole weekend will be very reasonably priced as a package.

For those who would like to come for the weekend, there are some local hotels for aprox $150 a night–great for those coming in small groups.

We are looking forward to some intensive dance training, lots of inspiration and some Northern California networking among dance and Zumba enthusiasts!

Come and dance in a beautiful and intimate Santa Cruz setting. I will be accompanied by some very talented and passionate instructors. Joy looks forward to dancing with you!

Another great event–it garned $845!! This event may have been smaller than the previous ones (many friend and relatives were out of town), but the energy was amazing and contagious! Thank you for your continued support to this cause. Know that you are making a difference in the education of poor Filipino children all the way across the globe!

What is the best mascara to wear to Zumba?

I know, I know.  You must wonder the same thing.  What mascara is the best to wear to Zumba class so I don’t come out of class looking like a raccoon?  After two and a half years of having eyeliner and mascara run down my face as I sweat it out in class, I have finally found the PERFECT Zumba mascara!  And this one won’t even break the bank.  Thanks, Mom, for the great suggestion!

Check out your local Walgreens, CVS or Rite Aide and try the Loreal Paris Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara (the one with the red and white wand).  It is magical!  Doesn’t come off in class and literally washes off with soap and water.  It even makes your lashes long and luscious.  Who wouldn’t want that?

And I really don’t work for or have any affiliation with the Loreal family.  I wear all the rest of my Bare Minerals like it is my job, but their mascara just made me a scary hot mess after class.
