Hello everyone! The very awesome Zumba Samba pants are now available in the Zumba Shop online and they are hot! Clearly I just ordered myself a pair and I wanted to share the info with you all: http://www.zumba.com/us/shop/
I will be sure to post information here in the future as soon as more samba pants become available! Until then, check out EBay for older versions of the fantastic Zumba samba pants! They are my favorite to dance in!!!
I’m keeping my fingers crossed for some more Zumba pants with tassels! :)
But until then, here is an idea for you all!
Yesterday, we had our Zumba for Charity Event in San Francisco to benefit the Philippines and all wanted to show our Filipino pride by wearing yellow. So I bought ribbon and velcro and made my own yellow samba flare! Talk about spirited and creative!

Kids can Zumba, too
Wildly popular dance and fitness program teaches children healthy habits
“The concept for Zumbatomic started several years ago, explained Koh Herlong, education advisor for Florida-based Zumba Fitness, which markets the trademarked workout. Zumbatomic debuted in September at the 2009 Zumba Fitness convention in Orlando, Fla., where it was taught to around 1,000 instructors from around the world.”

Meet the Man Behind Zumba: Beto Perez
He built a global empire helping people have fun and burn calories.
“It took four trips from his native Colombia to Miami before Beto Perez got his big break. The fitness and dance instructor simply wanted to bring his workout classes to America. But with little money and even less English, he couldn’t get fitness-center managers to watch his Latin-dance-inspired videos.”

Hello Zumba peeps!
I’m looking forward to Zumba tonight! We’ve got some hot new tracks that are just fabulous – they make your sweat and get down like no other. And of course, we will be having some old school favorites (as promised to a dear Zumba friend). As much as I love new songs and routines, there is something awesome about seeing you all rock out to the old music that you know. I love when you can get really into a song and lost in the music :)
See you all tonight!
It was a great day of Zumba on this beautiful San Fran Sunday!
This morning Rossy and I practiced at Mobu for her Zumba Halloween Party next weekend (Oct 31st, 4:30pm, Mobu Dance Studio), which was a lot of fun. I always like seeing new, fresh choreography and trying out some new numbers of my own. For some reason, it doesn’t always look the same as when you were dancing in front of your bathroom mirror. Note to self: always practice with someone else so they can tell you if you look ridiculous with a move you thought was oh, so cool.
After our little morning practice session, we went over to the Zumba Charity event organized by Gertrude aka Ciao Bella, which was a blast! Over 100 people showed their support and it was good to connect with Zumba friends from around the Bay Area. Zumba parties are good like that :)
I have to say that after over 17,000 steps today, according to my GoWear Fit, I am a liiiiittle tired! Time for a movie and bed in preparation for a busy week. And get psyched for some new HOT routines this week!
I’m going to support my Zumba student, Patricia, at her Hula Show!
